Ooops, posted this here by accident. So to atone for my faux pas today I shaved with my DOC Evolution.

 

My first contribution to the OCtober discussion. A 1937 Gillette Sheraton along with my 'new' Century brush. (I believe this brush was unused. It's wet in this pic, drying after soaking and conditioner brought it back to life.)

The Aluminum Ascension head with the SS Ascension handle. Still a bit handle heavy but, definitely better weight wise in my hands. Just a fantastic shave that left no doubt. First pass a 1/4 turned from tight had a very nice and efficient feeling shave. Pass 2 was just a quick tweak, maybe a 16th of a turn and an awesome finish with no touch ups. Not bad at all this Ascension from PAA. Sleeper in the making....

Tabac Thursday's Shave

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #316 brush. I did two passes with the Segal OC Safety Razor with a Segal DE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Wolfman Ti OC 0.74mm with Triad Ti

A change of razor and brush for the next several days, the Wolfman OC in Ti with a 0.74mm blade gap and the infamous "Soap Destroyer". As expected the "Soap Destroyer" tore through the Soapy Science and whipped up a wonderful lather. I decided to go with a traditional 3 pass shave and caught the baby after buffing my lower right neck. Between the 2 Wolfman razors this is the one I enjoy the most which is ironic considering I didn't care for it in the beginning. A splash of Agua de Limón and I am off to the office. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Happy Friday. A great two pass shave to start the day. With touch ups along my my jawline and buffing my lower neck, I managed to catch the baby. A splash of Fine Lavender and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Friday.

Today was my fifth shave with the Segal DE OC razor. I will be switching tomorrow, so I wanted to make a little video about how the Segal opens and closes. It is pretty short.
