i love how this razor works. local antique store up the street from me has a cased/boxed one for cheap. just wished it used regular blades or i would have bought it...
I just measured the blade it is .015 inch. Astras are .010 inch. It is noticeably thicker. Out of curiosity what did the antique store want for the cased Segal?

OCtober 6, 2018 Just gets better every time I use this razor. The smoothness and the combined deceptive efficiency is just excellent. Simple little twist here and there, bingo and it’s a great feeling shave. The value is amazing and the shave it gives is top notch.... Superb!

October 6, 2018 Wolfman Ti OC 0.74mm with Triad Ti Feather Simpson CH2 Synthetic Figaro Sapone Speciale Captain’s Choice Bay Rum A wonderful shave this morning. The Sapone Speciale sample from @Primotenore is just about gone. I might be able to get one more shave out of the remains. Three passes and touch ups ended with the baby narrowly escaping. A splash of CC Bay Rum and I am off to spend the day with my Mom. I hope everyone has great Saturday.

OCtober 7, 2018 6 months and maybe even more since I last used the Ball End Old Type. Just a fantastic razor that is efficient, smooth and extremely nimble to work with. Balance is near perfection and slightly easier to use than the Single Ring, slightly. Hardly any gap, little blade exposure and will take down 2 or more days of growth like it's nobodies business. Love it....
