i treated myself to 2 bottles a while back ,i like the fine italian citrus as well ,it is a little cheaper. neither last very long.
I tend to like, and use the vintage stuff, in the order I like.: 1. Shulton Old Spice Fresh Lime 2.Shulton Old Spice Lime 3. Avon Island Lime 4. Florida Water. Even if it isn't vintage.
I think Captain's Choice lime is really nice, has a good natural lime scent to it (the Pinaud lime is a bit candy-ish to me).
RazoRock essential oil of lime. Smells just like Florida key limes. It's so close, be careful you may start drinking whiskey and writing books like Hemingway.
Next you'll tell us his cats had extra toes. Who ever heard of that. Opps, topic drift much? If Jolly Rancher had made a lime hard candy that's what it would have smelled/tasted like. I enjoy it for that quality!
"Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts." Daniel Patrick Moynihan Too many people confuse the two - opinion & fact. Well, that's my opinion.
I know we're talkinabout lime scents here, but isn't it better to say "The FACT is that..." than "The Reality is is that.."? Course Danny Moynihan wuld reply with his "opinion" quote. As for lime, I may have to pull back my Razorock Lime soap from "sink storage", as it's back to being like summer here. I have other summer-like scents around, will use them too.
I'm late to the party here, but I saw the thread title and I had to jump in just in case someone else stumbles across this thread looking for information on lime aftershave. I'll corroborate Rich's post and state proudly that JoAnna makes some of the best smelling lime aftershave right here in the TSD shop. It works extremely well, smells like actual lime, and is worth more than what you pay for it. A bottle of the lime has been one of my favourite aftershaves for years sitting right next to my beloved Speick on my bathroom counter.
Hey Rich. It's been a while. I posted over in the HYD thread. Was hoping to see if some of the others would come out to play, too.
