    Update...
It's been about 8 hours and I have a 5 O'clock shadow. That's why a mild razor is not a favorite of mine. I'm also not a fan of 3 or 4 pass shaves either. But all in all, the razor preformed as expected for a mild mannered shaver.

Wow. Thank you so much for the thorough assessment! I share your opinion on the performance aspect (I have a Decadence set, but never tried either of the Creepers). I, too, ordered the Jeckyll & Hyde set.

Todays shave was with a German/American Made Razor. I had a spectacular 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues, just a fine shaving razor, that takes a very fine edge.

Razor- "Brandt No115" Extra Hollow Ground. The M.L.Brandt Cutlery Co. New York and Germany.
    Brush- Wilkinson Sword Boar
    Soap- Arko/Sandalwood Scented
Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy. Triple Crown Decanter

Pretty decent shave the other day. The lather from the Oleo Canard base is excellent. Did experience a tiny bit of irritation from the scent.
Nothing too bad, which is good since i really like this particular scent. Goes well with this fall weather.

Nice shave this morning. The scent of Maharani was calming and helped with the overall zen of the shave. Lather went well, GG is one of the soapmakers that have mastered the olive oil problem, no lather issues with this particular formula. The A/S has good longevity as well. Hope everyone is doing well and getting great shaves!

NEW SC with a Dorco Prime
Sterling Aloe and Witch Hazel - Vetiver

Man, I love the new sc. I'm sticking to that specific razor for the month of OCtober. What baffles me is how anyone could think it's aggressive. I almost liken it to an open comb tech. Not a huge fan of the Vetiver, but I figured it would pair well with the soap.

I'm going to still go easy on my neck and go for a solid shave rather than try for the BBS because I want one more day of recovery from the razor burn session on Saturday.

***EDIT - My neck ended up feeling good enough and my soap with pre-shave oil felt protective and slick enough to get a BBS without really trying. 10 out of 10 shave this morning! Country Club for Men's old vegan formula is fantastic when loaded and used properly. After soaking the soap while I brushed my teeth, I put the water on my face then only had to load the brush for a mere 3-4 seconds. Then I used my green Suribachi Lather Bowl (handmade by Of the Dirt Pottery) to build a super lather. The soap was the champ of this shave for sure. No nicks, irritation or cuts. The lather bowl made a stunning difference in the lather and allowed me to turn a minimal brush load into a perfect shave.
