I'll tell you about nearly being frostbit. If I'm wearing shorts and open up the frozen food door at the supermarket, I'd better get what I want FAST
Thank you Andrew. I like the feel of the handle so I won’t transplant the knot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Great SOTD pic and report. Happy Wednesday indeed. Declan has grown so much. Thanks for sharing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thank you, Clint! Speick may be my favorite shave stick. It is slick with a light, pleasant scent. It has plenty of cushion and is easy to get just to the right consistency. It makes a great Dopp kit soap.
October OC & Oddballs Williams Vintage Stick SS The King badger brush (Guest appearance; Suribachi) Gillette OC 3pc Old Rapira blade Avon Deep Woods AS Posting from my phone, can't place the photo where I want it... Anyways, an odd ball soap, but much cherished. Back in the day Williams used the right tallow and it lathers great! Since face lathering is supposed to work with a stick I tried it that way. First pass was OK, but couldn't get the brush to give up any, so rubbed the stick against rough ceramic and bowl lathered for 2nd & 3rd passes. I'd have tried to "load my face" but 1st pass cleaned away any helpful stubble. Good reduction from the old DE with no errors. Finished with a splash of vintage Avon. A little pine, probably a bit of musk, nothing special and little lasting lotion feeling. The decanter is a keeper when it's empty! Good Shaves Y'all! Tapatalk via LG
