Thank you, Clint! I am enjoying this razor. I keep going back and forth on whether to cut my collection back to about a dozen razors or so. I am leaning that way again, but I've been here before. This one will likely stay in my den if I do end up cutting back.
I've thought about cutting back to a smaller rotation, but not my collection. Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Thank you Jim. I go through purging razors periodically as well. I am nearing that point again. I always have a hard time balancing what stays and what goes.
My idea would be to find the 12 or so razors I really like, sell and/or PIF the rest. I would use whatever funds I have from selling some to replate or cerakote the ones I keep.
Yes, I'm in the same boat as well. Going through my first 'purge' right now- PIF'ing a few razors (and soaps), and will donate another one to the raffle. Nothing of huge value that I'd put on a BST at this point yet.

OCtober Oleo and Odd Balls!! October 11 Razor - OCMM Blade - (2) Soap - Proraso Red Tub (Sandalwood) Brush - Jayaruh #46 Post - Alum A busy day in spite of no work of any kind. We got the car serviced and ready to go for the weekend, groceries bought, a Walmart supply run done, and a few other odds and ends. Also just spent some time working around the house and in my den. Not a bad way to spend a day. Ended the "official" day with a fine shave with the OCMM, Treet and Proraso Red soap with the JR46. Two passes and touch ups and a near BBS is the reward. Very nice shave. The alum is quiet so the touch was better tonight. Or else the OCMM decided to behave a bit better. Either way it's a fine shave. You'll notice tomorrow's brush in the picture today - my "on deck" brush. It is the combination of the custom handle from @jtspartan and knot from @Screwtape . I think it looks amazing and I seem to have gotten the knot set well. It's curing tonight and tomorrow and I'll give it its inaugural run tomorrow night. I decided on a name for this brush. I think "Canuck" is appropriate given the fact that the two gentlemen responsible for me having it both live in the great frozen northland of Canada. Thanks, gents! Can't wait to try it out. I work tomorrow and Saturday before the pilgrimage to the desert. Have a great Friday!
I just took a few Sharp Stars out of circulation. The general population should be safer for it. I managed to do this between naps and meals.
