I don't have a smart phone, but I'll take a photograph of tomorrow's shave using my GoPro! Do Supply Co. sell the Personna blades? I can pick up 40 Personna blades from Connaught for £9.60... A year's shaves for that money is crazy!
@Screwtape what kind of shave does the supply injector with the classic plate give? Something similar to a Schick G? The idea of a stainless razor with a lifetime warranty (assuming the company lasts) is intriguing!
Supply Co doesn't say they are selling Personna blades. They just sell blades for their injectors that come in white plastic cartridges. But the fact is, there are only two makers of injector blades today - Schick and Personna. Schick brands their blades; Personna sells blades in unmarked white plastic cartridges that allow resellers to put their own brand on them if they want...
I didn't love it when I first got it. It once I figured it out, man... Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Tuxedo knots are! So soft you don't feel the brush, just the lather. I might have tried some vintage Personna injector blades. Probably twin blades at that. Most of my injector shaves are with Chinese made Schick (Chick) blades. They are thicker than a DE blade and seem to give longer service. Maybe 8-10 shaves or more. Long ago I quite counting and shave until the blade tells me I need to change it.
It doesn't matter too much about the number of shaves since the Personna blades are so cheap! I have 19... I used the first as a blank because the razor did not have a blade in it. I suppose I'll see how long a pack lasts! A pack of 20 costs £6, 40 costs £9.60 and 100 costs £20.40!
I am glad you're enjoying the Schick G. I think injectors, like the Gem SE razors, don't get as much love as the more glamorous Gillette adjustables or the fancy modern DEs, but they can give a very fine shave. People who like them tend to really really like them. And Chris @Bama Samurai claims they are an excellent gateway to the Dark Side...

I just noticed this post - missed it before, sorry. The Supply is a bit different to use than a Schick because it is modelled on the old Pal injector. The shaving angle is a bit steeper than the Schick and the sweet spot is narrower. Also the razor itself is heavier. Having said that, I find the shave with the middle or Classic plate very similar to the Schick G in aggressivenes and efficiency. I quite like it. Is it any better than a Schick G1 or E2 or E4, especially considering you can probably pick up half a dozen Schicks for the price of the Supply? Not really. The solid steel construction is nice but the Schick will probably last a lifetime too... You might want to ask Jim @Jayaruh or Jason @jtspartan their opinions too. Jim has a Supply, and Jason just borrowed mine to try. I think Jason plans to give it a run in a couple weeks and post on the 30DC. I think Perry @PLAla likes Schick injectors but tried the Pal adjustable and didn't much care for it, which would probably mean he wouldn't like the Supply either. (Or I might be thinking of someone else and the Pal...)
thank you,the 2 band has some back bone. never tried a silvertip .this one is great.trying the lpl apricot next..
It’s much different than a Schick G. The Supply has a much more swallow angle. You have to be right on the sweet spot for whisker removal. The PAL injectors are similar to the Supply. The Schick injectors are more forgiving.
