OCtober 12th Razor: Cooper Monobilt Blade: SuperMax Blue Diamond (1) Brush: Maseto Finest badger 30mm Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated Soap: JoHS Bay Rum Stirling Bay Rum witch hazel AS: JoHS Bay Rum Good morning, gentlemen! Breaking the rules with this morning's shave. Two new variables introduced, razor and blade, courtesy of Andrew @Linuxguile . I loaded the SuperMax blade paying attention to placement and getting the top cap fully closed. The shave was excellent! Two pass with extra touch up left me near BBS. Just a super smooth razor! I can see why this is Andrew's favorite. My first use and I can't imagine how it could be better. Have a great weekend! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Terrific black and white photo, Jim! Your stock of PAA products is impressive. I've still yet to try them.
October Focus ASW Old Virginia~~Rooney Emillion 2~~Gillette New SC~~Personna Med Prep~~Czech & Speake Cuba Focus Gear: Gillette New SC This Tobacco Soap/AS combo is perhaps my very favorite. SWMBO gave me the big nuzzle and said: "I LOVE how you smell" Now, that was really nice, until she added: "Can you sell the scents that I don't like?" You win a few, you lose a few. Back to the soap...ASW is made by the same people that produce WSP, albeit a slightly-altered formula, sold exclusively at another Forum's owner's website. I asked the folks at WSP if their Formula-T Tobacco was the same and that's when I learned of the difference. I have never tried the WSP Formula-T Tobacco, (I do have their Bay Rum, which is NOT my favorite) so I am unable to make a direct comparison. The Old Virginia is brilliant; both in the soap base and the scent. Top-notch product. Too bad it's only available one place. The Gillette New SC was loaded with a thrice-used Personna Med Prep, so it'll be binned afterwards. It did, however, give me a very comfortable and close shave. Sometimes the SC can give me trouble with the angle, but that was not to be with this shave. Long, slow swipes were easy-peasy. 3 passes and some ATG buffing for a BBS result. C&S Cuba doesn't smell like a cigar, but smells like floral, fresh, tobacco leaves. NOT to be confused with Tabac. Great finish, great shave, great scent.
Sounds like a successful homecoming week Perry. I know you have to be exhausted and ready for things to return to normal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wonderful photo and post, Joseph! Makes me want to try WSP Tobacco. Thanks, Clint! It was a good week and the kids had a blast, which is the most important thing. I'll be recovered by Monday hopefully!
