I always wondered what "Anchor Hocking" meant. As a kid, I recall ads talkinabout "Anchor Hocking Cut Glassware".

My local WM lists them as sold out, so Big Lots might be all that's left.

A very old American consumer glassware company, possibly best known for their classic Fire King line that ran for several decades from the '30s onward.

Enrico, there were a few in my location and I really need only one more. Let me know if you can't find any at yours.

I guess I should act fast, just to be safe. Thanks for the plug, Perry....I suppose a man cannot have too much access to a barbershop fragrance product.

Today I received the Starling V2 base plates and decided to fill the cart for free shipping with some shampoos, deodorants, and a replacement to one of my favorite shaving products - The Mentholated CUBE! I order the dish for fun this time, but I must say that this is one of the best performing items in my den and adds a good dose of menthol to every shave. For the most part, I don't need a preshave for slickness, but it works great and gives a bit of cool to every shave without distorting the scent of the main soap. They also last forever. I highly recommend the CUBE. I hope the new Starling OC Emerald base plate works as well. The shampoo pucks also are very noteworthy, providing outstanding lathers and good scent strength. I like to use them to try scents of soaps and aftershaves I'm interested in. All three smell great from the puck and I can't wait to use them.

Thanks for the Cube review, Steve. I've had a bar of Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap that has lasted over a year. It is slivering down pretty well at this point and I'd like another mentholated pre-shave product. I've been thinking about the Cube and may just get one.

+1 to @Smooth Steve. I enjoy occasional use of Proraso Preshave (Green - menthol) but your review of The Cube has me intrigued. The Glow in the dark Cube even more so...

I found this Schick G5 on eBay and jumped on it. It arrived today, and I cleaned it up. It is going to be a good one I think.

After the cleanup. All I did was spray it was Kaboom and then clean it with a toothbrush. It cleaned up very nicely

Terrific catch, Jim! Those are great razors. Typical G series performance with the cool retro factor of that handle.
