I don't see anything special for this month going on (correct me if I missed it), so I'm thinking of using and posting my "new" razors. In my case "new" means a modern razor (not vintage). For anyone else wants to participate your "new" razor could be a Gillette NEW or an old razor that's just new to you. Whatever your fancy. So let's see some NEW razors! Herm
Here's my first offering. I love my long handle Merkur Progress and haven't used it for a while. On this adjustable razor my normal setting is about 2.5 to 3 which makes this razor very comfortable and very efficient. BBS almost every time. Not mild, but not aggressive, just right. The Pre de Prevence #63 is a great barbershop scented soap that lathers easily and that I find nice and slick. The small Simpson brush is one of my favorites. Herm
I play along with the modern razor definition. My Blackland Sabre Level 2. The razor is a modern razor using Gem blades. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
my only stainless modern razor, other than a merkur 34c. i don t post this razor much as i like my vintage gillettes. this razor doesn t get a lot of love on the forums but i like it.. razorock mamba...
Well yesterday’s shave was a NEW on 2 fronts. 1. It’s a NEW modern stainless steel razor the Ikon OC Deluxe 2. It’s based on the Gillette NEW deluxe . Let’s see what todays shave brings
Pretty darn good. I’m still trying to find the blade to go with it. The personna blue doesn’t shave well with it. The Voskhod does.

Razor - PAA DoC Blade - personna blue Brush - gibbs nylon Soap - TABAC Post - peach witch hazel A/S - vegetal BBS smooth with this mismatch scented shave.. lol

This is an old razor new to me. It is an ER24. Today was my second shave with it. It was a very good shave. The razor is a little tricky to load, and I don't like the way it catches water in the cap, but once you get past that, it is a great shaver.
My next new razor is another modern adjustable, the Parker Variant. It's design is much like Merkur Progress, but looks and feels a bit more refined, especially in rose gold. Razor- Parker Variant Blade- Astra SP Brush- Simpson pure bristle Soap- Sterling Electric Sheep Herm
Razor- Rockwell 2c Brush - ever ready Blade - personna blue Soap - Tabac Post - lavender witch hazel A/S - clubman vanilla Bbs smooth. This razor is smoooooth. One day I’m going to have to hunt down the additional plates.
