    Life conspired against my sleeping in this morning. Everything just clicked with the shave for the first two passes. This is where a bright person would have left things alone and moved along. Oh no, I couldn't possible do that. I reapplied lather along my lower neck and jawline and started to buff away. This is where the wheels went off the track with weepers everywhere. I should have known better than to get foolish with a new Gem PTFE blade. Thank goodness I don't get razor burn or irritation bumps because I would be lit up like a 80s disco ball. Witch hazel followed by balm has calmed things down some but the Fine aftershave lit it right back up. Lesson learned until the next time I do something stupid. Off to take mom to lunch and shopping. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

    Sorry about the weepers. It happens to the best of us. Especially when greed kicks in. At least you re-lathered. Too often I get greedy and lazy at the same time. Sometimes I win, sometimes I don't. Tomorrow is another chance for epic!

    Wonderful pictures of your granddaughters, Rick! I recall @Primotenore packing some pipe tobacco around a puck of Mitchell's and then vacuum sealing it so it could infuse. Then he took it out, scraped off the outer tobacco layer, and now uses it. Correct us if we're wrong about that, Joseph.

    It doesn't look like there's any rush to order the Vector. The nice thing about Blackland they appear to make plenty of razors for their release.


    But if you order today it would probably ship tomorrow. :)
