    If this is an attempt at enabling, it is a sad and confusing one. In this story am I supposed to be the ignorant one, the blissful one, or the one who needs to buy another badger knot? And if it’s the third, wouldn’t it have been much easier to just say “Hey I found this awesome badger brush that you don’t have.”? That totally works 99% of the time. Throw in a “Clint likes it too.” comment and it’s a lock.

    Today’s random grab was the sample of Shannon’s Soaps Lakeshore Drive.

    First off, the scent is very nice. The pleasant surprise was when the razor took the first few swipes. Slick! Oh, yeah…it has the slickness…even residual slickness. This was only the first go at this soap, so I won’t judge too harshly - some of it could’ve been (and probably was) me. I thought the cushioning lacked somewhat, and the post shave feel wasn’t up there with the best of ‘em. Stirling Baker Street AS to the rescue. Stirling aftershaves never fail to give the face a soft, refreshed feeling.

    In the end, it was still an enjoyable shave, despite a few weepers around my “Nemesis”. My face is smooth and refreshed…great way to start the day off.

    I apologize for not commenting on each post but it has been a very long day. I did enjoy the photos and the reports.

    The Envy White 2 band has more backbone and perhaps a little softer tips than the TGN Finest. I find the Envy White is a bit more dense as well. However I really like TGN finest and given the ready availability and cost difference I find them to be an excellent value.
