  2. Thanks for your thoughts on them. I’m quite pleased with the two TGN knots I have. If and when the need arises for another knot, I’ll keep the Envy in mind...

Hope you’re winding down after the long day and enjoying your evening.

  4. It’s a beautiful razor, and from what reviews I’ve seen, it’s a sweet shaver. Looking forward to seeing your reports.
  5. Oh, I mean that in a complimentary way. I can tell your photos before I see the name. Same holds true with some of the other members here.
I know you just love a brand spankin’ new boar knot to break in. :)

  6. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It's Super-Razor!.... ;)

It uses the Artist Club type of single edge blades? I have only ever used Gem-style wide single edged
blades and Schick-type injectors, not the slightly longer injector-width blades...

  7. Beautiful razor Jim. Can't wait for your review. I have one in the mail. With or rotating mail strike there is no telling when it will get here.

  8. Yes, it takes the Artist Club blades. I picked up the Feather Professional and the Super.

  10. Several adult beverages have helped with the winding down. Good thing I’m not internet shopping tonight

  14. It’s a cool looking razor but I’ll be passing on it. I’m out of the razor buying business for at little while.

  16. hello folks ,wednesday night shave,, had a lovely surprise when i got home from work today..2 parcels. one was an eveready 150 brush that keith restored beautifully and a 46-50 gold tech that has had little to no use , usual proraso pre shave ,hot towel ,cleaned the razor and inserted a nacet blade, whipped up a lovely batch of jeeves barbershop and had a mild but fantastic 3 pass shave.dfs+ and no drama.finished with some thayers and a whole bunch of jeeves a/s. love this barbershop scent, old skool...won t use this razor too often as i don t want to wear the gold off ,brush was excellent, love the weight, very nice timberwolf knot..awesome u.s. shave..have a great night, gary 20181107_202041.jpg

  17. On AS:

Osage Rub, Brut, Clubman, Bombed-out FW and Proraso Green. Those are my core choices lately.

  18. Thank you, Bruce. As to whether I would order a Supply, I’d lean to no. While I did enjoy the weight and the solid shaves, and might explore other modern injectors or artist club razors if given the chance, I wouldn’t say this razor changed the game for me. A quality, smooth shaver no doubt. I actually only have two modern razors- the EJ89 I started with and a CJB Kamisori-style Shavette that came from Keith. I do like my vintages, but have given serious thought to a Karve and other modern quality razors as well at times. Just never pulled the trigger.

  20. I am hopelessly behind for this month. I will start trying to keep up from tomorrow.
