What are you waiting on to arrive...?

Somewhat appropriate to the day... I had a surprisingly low offer accepted by an eBay seller for a mismatched Service Set. Basically, it is a decent condition case but with a New LC razor. I have a nice 1918 OT and a semi-scruffy 1917. One of them should be right at home in the case.

 

Building kits works, too. What kind of shape is the NEW LC? Got all it's teeth and plating? Those are great razors.

 

It seems to have all its teeth, but I'm dubious about the plating. One nice thing is that it is the later Reissue Patent version with the Common Bar handle.

It looks like I need to find another blade bank. Anybody want to trade a New LC for one.

Lol empty tub and didn’t replace.. I have tooooo many soaps and it’s not even in comparison to what you and others may have. I have about 43 soaps, shave sticks, refills and creams. So far only one soap has turned yellow but I’m still using it. Lol

Waiting on a few cheap razors(2 razors for less than $20)

Razorock DE1- this appears to be a well constructed 3 piece razor from SOTD pics and reviews are mostly positive. Apparently it gets compared to a Gillette Tech, but will have to see about that.

and a Dorco Black Plastic razor- had a hard time finding much information about this razor. Have a Wilkinson Sword Classic which I absolutely love and figured I would try another plastic DE and see how it goes. Have also had eyes out for a Wilkinson Sticky, Vintage Balelite Slants, and other plastic-type razors.

 

Some of us would say it improves upon the Tech.

 

After reading several reviews on TSD & other sites I ordered this sandalwood AS. Already have the Red tubbed soap & another sandalwood scented soap - Truefitt & Hill.

 

very singular in scent. not a cologne type sandalwood like tobs..

 

Well Im actually waiting on 2 razors just ordered a 2018 rocnel special edition and a Rockell Model T...I had already ordered the Model T and been mulling what to get that I could pass it on to my son when he's old enough to shave and I got the idea from another forum of a razor from the year he was born...a wolfman would have been ideal but not very likely to obtain.. I ended up going with those two which i can use and decide Model T is Canadian made in 2018 and the Rocnel is clearly date stamped and satisfies my need to move up into a medium agression razor .

With the TSD store closing up, I ordered 5 more bottles of Bourbon & Vanilla AS. And @Drygulch told me at the meet-up he likes the Barber Shoppe scent so I ordered a bottle of that as well. That takes me to 10 bottles of Bourbon & Vanilla.

 

I’m waiting on a ranger tech and 8 packs of personna 74. Not sure if the pack of blades have 2,5,10. The owner couldn’t see. I’m hoping for 10 each but would be happy with 5 each and bummed if they have 2 each lol
