One pass clean up shave before heading over to Mobile for the rest of the weekend. We spent four nights in Orange Beach and rested and relaxed as much as possible. Wilson was here part of the time but my mother-in-law graciously took him back on Tuesday which gave us some time with no responsibilities. Pretty nice! Terrific quick shave this morning. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends here! And for everyone else, I hope it's at least an easy workday. Lot of great photos and comments and even a few shave reports posted already today. Paul @Paul Turner, congratulations! And for a post about cat food at the Piggly Wiggly no less! That one is clear. The Rule specifies using the same equipment setup to eliminate unnecessary variables in the shave and leave technique as the point of concentration. It doesn't require using blades for the exact same number of shaves every time. They get replaced whenever necessary. If you dropped the blade and possibly damaged or dirtied it, dumping it is necessary. Great setup today. Love the chubby brush. I think you're right about the Old Types. I would place them a notch below the NEWs and a bit above the New Improved in the Gillette OC hierarchy.
That would have been terrible. I wouldn't be able to chat with you in here anymore(oh man, that was selfish!
At this date, I proclaim No Plan as the survey winner. The lead is too much. As for second place-hey c'mon, too close and too early to call!!!
Blades are so light, that I cannot imagine there was any damage. However, they're also dirt cheap, so if you are unsure, toss and use a fresh one tomorrow.
