    It's a no shave day for me, but I wanted to drop in and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! We are in San Antonio visiting my parents and my grandfather who came in from Eastern New Mexico. I hope everyone has a blessed and safe day.

    After getting everything in the oven, I had just enough time for a quick shower and shave before our guests arrived. The lineup delivered a near perfect drama free shave. I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.

    Thank you Charlie. The doctor gave her some topical CDB for pain relief. It is amazing how much that helped her. I know she will be able to concentrate better during finals without the pain.

    My daughter suggested a noon meal. Everything is ready except my daughter and son in law. They're always late. The prime rib looks good.[​IMG]

    Because I am obviously incapable of focus/rule, I saw my humble Flat Bottom Tech (English) in my cupboard and thought I'd give it a clean and shave with it. I loaded it with a fresh Astra SP blade and was rewarded with an effortless BBS shave with absolutely ZERO irritation. Nice razor this.[​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    I had a Maggard’s slant head...it ended up getting dropped on the PIF table at the Maggard’s meet. It was OK, but didn’t excite me. It was a bit large, and the sweet spot was narrow. When you get the angle right, it shaves well enough, but not any better than any other blade holder. However, if people like them, that’s perfectly fine. It’s all about finding and using whatever you like.
