  1. Great photo as usual Jim. Sounds like a very good maiden voyage with the Supply razor. I am sure you will get it dialed in shortly.

  4. Another Texas soap, I see.
  5. MY WCS order(Grandpa's Barbershop Shavesoap)has been reported as being on its way. I do hope Central Texas Soaps develops its own website, but I'm now thinking they figure they need to make more products first.
  6. Wow, you live close to an airport? The tree design is real nice.
  7. That's a gorgeous brush, Randy. Definitely worthy of a search for the perfect knot to match it!
  8. Morning all...

Got up late this morning :) ( on Porpoise, yuk yuk... )

Got a nice 3 pass face and 2 pass head shave this morning. Used a new Feather blade instead of a 2cd use one. Didn't try any thing off schedule this time. Had a pinch on the neck on the 2cd pass, thought, oh man. But to my surprise nothing there, must have been a wild hair ;).

All in all a good close shave . Took a little more time on the chin area and was rewarded in kind, no 4th pass nesassary :happy088:.

The shaves just get better and better.

But you guys knew that would happen.

    enjoy the weekend

  13. Saturday morning November 24 - all Supply Co all the way

Shower with Supply Co Lost Provence body wash
Supply Co V2 injector on two-dot plate / Supply Co supplied Personna (1)
Supply Co Silvertip Fibre synthetic brush
    Jason's Dry Dock shave bowl
Supply Co Lost Provence Ultra Lather Shave Cream
Alum and Supply Co Lost Provence balm

    IMG_20181124_083544_burst_01.jpg
Since I have a full set of Lost Provence scent products, I decided to do an all-Supply Co day when that scent came up in my rotation. Lost Provence is a mixture of a robust "field" lavender, blue sage and basil. It is intended to smell like the rural part of France where fields of lavender are cultivated. I don't know whether it does match the outdoor scent of that region, but it is one of my favourite bathroom product scents.

So today was Lost Provence day chez moi with Supply Co hardware rounding out the setup. I don't like the little glass cream jars Supply Co uses now. I prefer to load a brush directly from a tub rather than scooping some cream out of a jar and smearing it in a shave bowl or on my face. However, Supply Co switched to jars because they fit in a dopp kit and because a lot of their new users are used to rubbing foam on their faces so it's familiar to them. I understand the logic even if I liked the original tubs better. Regardless, the cream worked up a great lather easily. After that, it was a great shave. Nothing much more to say.
