Placed an order from Wet The Face. Zu-Zu's Petals (rose scent sounds amazing) and Queen City Soaps (from their Flea Market). Havent heard of the last one before and always look forward to trying a new soap base.

I'll be curious to hear your review on the Bonaparte. Rod warned all his customers to not order the scent.

Being a Wardonia fan I had no choice but to pick up this first issue 1931 beauty.

I'm curious to see if it's as polarizing as he says also.

Reminds me of the Durham Duplex type shavette. Cool that it takes a full DE blade. The wide head could give the utility of a 8/8 SR. Not sure about the skinny handle, but that's something to develop your technique for optimum service.

I saw on the Shave Nation website the brass model was sold out. Is yours chrome?

the wardonia handle is the same as the laurel handle.

i have a 10 pack of the gillette super stainless blades coming .are they a better blade than the gsb or nacets? or just old..

Well that probably prompted 40 - 60 people to purchase it out of curiosity. Not me ... I haven't purchased puck shave soap in a year and a half (I bought two cans of Barbasol two months ago).

If you haven't tried CBL Premium Soap, I highly recommend you do.I've tried, & loved, several of their soaps. Just ordered the Dragon's Blood after trying a large sample. This may be the best soap I've ever used. Strong words I know, but true.
