Gary nailed it. No cologne, floral, or citrus. It's just straight up Indian Santalum album sandalwood. It's not the less expensive Australian Santalum spicatum alternative either. I shaved in the evening, applied the Proraso Red AS, and later went to bed. In the morning my pillow still retained the scent.

Last day of November and some nice items from @Jrdelgado. A mug from the University of Denver, which will be home to a shave soap. A cased Gillette New Standard, which had the following note inside the blade bank: "this was given to me in 1937 - Earl". Two Gillette Old Types, a WW II Gillette Tech, a German travel Razor, I'll find a case for it, and a vintage Century shave brush, which will have a new knot eventually as the original is shedding. I also forgot to include some blades in the pic.
Found a decent Slim in my favorite shop. 15% off so I took it home for 9 bucks! Sent from my SM-S320VL using Tapatalk
I think it's a virgin Gem 1912 razor, if not, it was hardly ever used IMO. Just excellent shape for a Gem greenhorn who is still waiting on my blades, Canada post on a rotating strike has really pushed parcels way back.
I receive a small package yesterday from the Holy Black with some Black Friday purchases. I picked up the Tangerine Creeper soap and aftershave. I used it this morning and it was just outstanding. Great stuff. Steve
Save me a email hunt please. Pop me a address. I will dig it up sometime in the week and get it out to you. It is a good thing to be friends with the King of TOST.
