The Muhle R41 )2013 is that the aggressive one that is hard to tame?

My 73 stays in the basement. I need to get it out and run it. Has not been out in a while. Ain't nothing wrong with a Camry and this grandfather mainly rolls on a 2014 F150.

It's a smooth shaver if your technique is good. You just need to focus on the basics...good prep, lather, skin stretching, no pressure, correct angle, etc. I'm using the R41 with a heavy stainless steel handle and a Feather blade, so I'm in the process of trying to dial it in.

Most of the guys here believe that a razor is a razor...just something to hold a blade against the skin. You just need to learn how to use the tools you have to get consistently great shaves. If you stick around here long enough, you see will guys on the 30 Day Crew shave with some pretty crazy things...especially during MAYhem. Compared to those potentially lethal contraptions, the R41 is a walk in the park.

I'm glad you decided to jump in and ride along with us. There's plenty of love here for Omega boar brushes, Palmolive cream, and Russian steel.

Well, I'll have Tater probably in a couple weeks. That's two outta three, as I don't drive a corvette.

I did see my dad try and trim a cat's claws one time. Every try to stick a cat head first in a rubber boot? It did not work out too good for him but the cat won!

I'm in for Decadent December. I'll be rotating through some of my favorite razors, brushes, soaps, and fragrances this month. I hope I can keep up with the 30 Day Pace.

Outstanding two pass + cleanup today. Fast loading MDC Vetiver was thick, slick and lathered with my Simpson '58. Blackbird OC, great blade feel and super efficient made quick work of my trouble spots, right jawline and neck. I am smooth and refreshed this Saturday morning ready for the day. Have a great shave today gentlemen!

Y'know, with all this cat talk, and the many cats my sister has had over a long stretch, and my mom's cats(one of whom was Tater), I'm more of a dog man muhself.
