For the final shave of NOvember I decided to go with a heavyweight.

This razor gave me an almost perfect shave tonight. The only bad part was when I found an ingrown hair on my neck with it. But other than that it was uneventful.

I think it’s a combination of entering the wrong data because he’s an idiot and possibly almost blind.

I had seen others had spreadsheets and picture calendars to help keep track. I found the hardest part of this month was just trying to keep up with that posts. Good looking shave Brian.

Final shave of No-Repeat November. The gods chose the Qshave (Futur clone), the Super Iridium blade, Stirling Bay Rum and the JR46. Can't say there's a bad pick in that bunch. The Qshave at 6 which is wide open is a beast. Fearsome looking but if you handle her right you'll get a fine shave. With the lather from the JR brush and Stirling soap I had all the protection and slickness I could ask for. The Super Iridium blade is famously smooth and sharp and did a great job. I focused on staying on the cap and it didn't even bother the cut from last night, which is rather obviously there. Two passes and some touch up and the baby showed up for the final night of the month. Great way to finish it off.

Well, gentlemen, it looks like we had a fantastic month for November. How fantastic you ask? Well, back on page 217 of this month's thread I mentioned we had a shot at taking over the top spot for busiest month in the history of this thread. And...I'm happy to report we accomplished that goal. Honestly - I thought it might be a challenge when I threw the $25 gift certificate out there. Fridays are usually a bit slow by evening and we had a ways to go. It wasn't even close to being a challenge. We passed the mark before noon today. Congratulations guys, we have a record thanks to all of you! I'll be handling the drawing and posting the winner of the PIF for the win in a few.

Speaking of records - last December was the busiest month in our history prior to this one. If Decadent December holds form we will have a new busiest month on our hands in about 31 days. It's always fun around here even if it's a bit overwhelming trying to read everything at times. I wouldn't have it any other way. Nothing left to say but LET'S GET DECADENT!!

My biggest problem this month? Changing blades every single freaking day. Partly because I change the blade pic in my report every day so it requires a new picture instead of a few days copy/paste. In the words of the great mystic Pooh ----Bother.

That "new whatever you want to pick" sounds like an unfocused focused PIF to me.

Great shave Neal. I always found that my Ming Shi 2000s (pretty sure it's the same razor) didn't seem to hold onto the blade that well... It sort of chattered when going XTG, so I never tried going ATG with it. I'm glad that you are able to get yours to work for you though!

The Ming Shi 2000s (I have one) and the same razor/different box/ Q Shave have two ways to apply the top cap. Correctly properly aligns the base, blade, and cap. Yes it's a loud DE. If this is news to you, ask me and I'll take photos to illustrate!
