How do you define DEcadence? I’m not sure, but this beautiful Bostonian and the luxurious SV soap are good places to start. Had a superb 2 pass plus touch up weekend shave today. Great minds, @clint64.
I’m off to try to catch up on the 15 pages (!)...by evening...of Dec 1.
    Have a great night all!
  5. Blade taped to finger ......I would love to see that video.

  7. I just finished my first shave of December and can honestly say it was probably one of my best. First time using plate 6 and it was smooth. Did one pass with plate 6 and finished up with plate 3. Fresh Voskhod blade which to me feels smoother than previous shaves with Feathers. Omega 10049 boar brush with Palmolive sensitive cream. Finished off with Clubman Pinaud Reserve Whiskey Woods. Looking forward to the rest of December shaves.

  8. John, thanks for the info. I sure do appreciate it. Sure enough, there's a date code on the Travel Tech. I didn't notice it at first. I've got a couple of different travel bags, so I'll drop a Tech in each one.

  9. Thanks. I've never shaved with a Tech, so it will be fun to try them out. You really got a sweet deal on your Slim and FB. I look forward to seeing them in your SOTD posts.

  12. Thanks again. I'm sure it's a very good razor based on all the comments and reviews I've read about it. I have several adjustables already (Slims and FB's), so I hope someone expresses interest in this one.

  13. Here they are a E2 FB and a H3 Slim. They will show up down the road. I have only shaved with them once.

  17. I’d say I channeled my inner ShavetteFu, but this might be a little lengthy even for him:

Alphabetically...hmm... haven’t tried that yet, Jim. Great looking combo as always.
Romera...drool... Brice...more drool. Yup, that is a decadent start.
Awesome! Another very decadent start to the month with that combo, Clint!
Great pic and write up again, Joseph. We have several razors in common, but mine never seem to look like yours...love the Red Tip. I must say, the glue dots don’t really seem to bother me. Do you find they make a difference, or is a cosmetic thing for you?
That’s right, I’d forgotten about your cool handmade knot project with the, I think, Simms paintbrush, Patrick.
My goodness, look at that set. Absolutely stunning, Brian. Doesn’t get more decadent than that. Was that from that one ‘super day’?
Sounds like you had a great focus, Doug. Congrats on the awesome Vector run.
I’m following this focus with interest, John. You keep pulling out great vintage razors, and I can’t wait to see what you pull out all month.
Interesting, Gary. I have what I think is the same razor. When I got it in an antique store in Alberta, I thought it was a Rocket. Then, after a little research, I was sure it was an Aristocrat Jr. Now you think it is something different?
Very nice shave. I am a fan of Palmolive soaps and creams, but I haven’t seen that Sensitive cream before. What makes it different from the Classic?
  18. Thank you, Gentlemen. It was a nice start to the month.
  19. Great shave and photos, gentlemen!
  20. You provide the Vette - I'll find the cat. Straight razors I've got.
