Ummmm....I think you just won decadence for the month. Need a cup bearer while you're there? Give me a shout.
I cannot turn down the chance to observe the unhijackable thread. It is as they say....."Fascinating". I can already see Summer Peaches mathematics coming into play....
Wow. Nice Techs there! I'd be interested in the Qshave. Never tried an adjustable before. Tried to PM you as per your request but I couldn't find the option to send you a PM.
I would imagine this is much more ridiculous....Introducing the Future Gillette.... 10 bladed razor!!
Amazing that someone would shave with that but what amazes me more is someone has the skills to weld a razor blade. ----------------- Danny
The toggle is in a class of its on. It is made of unattainable for me but it nice to see one floating around. I think I also seen the FB bottom dial too but I had to keep on going on that one.
Century of Tech Shaves - Shave #7 Razor: English Flat Bottom Tech w/ Fat Handle Blade: Astra SP (3) Brush: Ever Ready H40 w/ 24mm Tuxedo knot Soap: TOBS Almond Post: Nivea Sensitive After watching Manchester United's dismal showing against lowly Southampton (and consuming numerous alcoholic beverages), I decided to cheer myself up with a nice shave! An uneventful 2.5 passes (as per usual) led to a fantastic shave! The Ever Ready brush whipped up a serious amount of lather in the bowl (way more than needed - but it's DECember)! I suffered no rash/irritation on my neck, which might suggest that I am not in fact allergic to the almond oil in the TOBS! This a real bonus for me... £10 per tub isn't something I'd relish throwing away! Ditched the blade after the shave, cleaned up the razor and put a new one in ready for the next one! I'm not 100% sure that the blade had run its course, I just want to be safe on that front for now. I have had my interest piqued by the Gillette Nacet blades, and given their price point and reputation will be trying them after 50 shaves on the Astra SP. I do not have enough Astras to get me to the 100 shave mark (at a rate of 3 blades per shave) - I only have another 22 in stock! I think 50 shaves on each blade should give me an idea of which blade will be my long term favourite. I am not really interested in trying dozens of different blade types, and I am certainly not going to pay >£10 per 100 shipped. Enjoy your shaves gents!
December 1 Muhle R41 (2013) head & SS Big Bomber handle Feather (1) JR #160 Louisville Slugger handle with Omega 10098 boar knot MdC Alum, Thayers Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Floid Vigoroso For some variety, I've switched from Soap Commander Love to MdC for the next couple of shaves. JR #160 whipped up a metric tonne (three Kentucky truck loads) of MdC lather. I find this soap easier to lather than SC. I had the best two-pass shave (mug only) so far with Hoss Cartwright - super close, nary a weeper, borderline epic. Since I shaved yesterday afternoon, I'll try it again on Monday morning to see if I can repeat the results. Did not apply to yesterday's shave... I'm not sayin' whether this applied to yesterday's shave or not...
its an aristocrat jr by the research i have found so far,in canada it came in a canadian rocket case.. phew...1948-9..original post corrected..
