    Thank you Patrick. The RR soap is a very firm croap. Nowhere near as hard as a triple-milled, but firmer than a true cream, such as C.R. Salter.
    I appear here every Monday, Perry.
    If I shave it off, my wife will just ask me to grow it back, although she prefers that short-cropped look.

    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    Walbusch Humpback Slant
    Pol Silver SI (2)
    Yaqi Barber Pole (24mm, Frigate Class)
    Captains Choice 45th Parallel
    Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill ASB

    For my first Decadent December shaves I decided to use Walbusch Humpback Slant again, because the first shave with it was so good! I also decided to use the Captains Choice 45th parallel soap, that I hadn't used before, but knew had a decadent scent. To me the scent smells like black cherry vanilla ice cream, and it is scented pretty strongly! This soap is very soft and I probably didn't need to souse it, but I did any way. The Yaqi Mew Brown knot (Synbad) picked up tons of soap as I loaded and it look a good long while to work in enough water to get it properly hydrated. It turned out to be a very shiny, creamy lather that was definitely top tier slick. I was a little rushed this morning so I only did two passes, but two with the Walbusch were enough for a high grade DFS, so I'm not complaining! Have a great day my friends!
