Cleaned up the Den today, I have more stuff in another place as this shelf is full, and waiting for 4 razors to arrive.Anyone with experience on here who can advise me of good hiding places would be appreciated. Hard to believe I started this 11 months ago.
I'm right there with you. Not enough space or too much stuff. I prefer not enough space. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
1945ish is my best guess, The original patent was filed in 1944 and they were only produced a couple of years
Great looking shelf, Patrick! I only put razors and brushes on display. Soaps and Splashes get housed under the sink, out of sight...
Ok, today was a better lather than yesterday. I have always struggled with a badger brush, and to be honest I am not quite sure why. Tabac performed flawlessly.
Yes, I did a quick Google search for Grand King Self Lubricating Razor and came up with some info from a thread on B&B saying much the same thing . Also the handle is aluminum as I thought but the head is nickel plated. And the other users there noted it is a mild but very close shaver much as I did yesterday. An interesting razor. I may use it for a couple more days before continuing on to my untried SuperSpeeds and Techs.
My last home shave for the week this morning and I wanted to keep the decadent theme going. I grabbed my favorite soap and one of my best performing straights and had a wonderful shave.
