Yes, I am fully cognizant of their "hint". You're right, scratching&smearing isn't the same as the real thing.
Well guys, the way I see it. You can't be #1 untill you can shave with a straight, and get DFS every time. I'm far, far, far from that! So no worries @Primotenore. tp
December Focus RazoRock XXX~~Semogue Taj Mistura~~2011 Mühle R41~~Perma-Sharp "Titanicing" two soap/AS one after the other is a real challenge. Can't lie, I am ready to move on. There's probably one more application of the XXX AS. Soap... I grabbed the '11 R41 today. No reason, it was just staring at me, longingly... Inserted the multi-used Perma-Sharp and proceeded. I ditched the original Mühle handle years ago. IMO, it's one of the worst handles, in terms of slipperiness out there. The Weber Bulldog is a perfect fit, with outstanding knurling. Semogue's mixed badger/boar brush is really the best of both worlds. I had sold my BC Mistura a while back. The knot was great, but the smallish, wooden handle didn't thrill me. This SOC handle fits like a glove. There's always something very satisfying about performing a 3-Pass shave and after the final rinse you see...nothing. No irritation, no weepers, nothing but smooth skin (and a very handsome reflection in the mirror) That guy in the mirror smells pretty good too.
“1 brush, 1 soap, 1 brand of blades, 1 razor, 30 Days.” Danny reporting in to the Bratva. 12/6/18 – Third shave for December 30DC Omega 10049 boar Palmolive sensitive cream Voskhod from Russia with love via Natalia Rockwell 6S Clubman classic after shave. Filled the sink up with hot water and soaked the old pig brush, salsa bowl and Timeless shaving bowl. Step into the shower and showered up. Got out and dried off. Whipped up some nice lather in the salsa bowl. Added some hot water to the Timeless bowl and set the salsa bowl in the Timeless bowl for a scuttle effect. It keeps the lather nice and warm. Wet the old face down. Loaded the Voskhod in the Rockwell with plate 5 and went for 2 passes. Finished up with plate 3. Rinsed with cold water and patted dry. Opened up the old Tabasco bottle and splashed some Clubman classic on. Another great shave with the Rockwell 6S & Voskhod. I did have the feeling that some one was watching me this morning. Is it possible that the Cartel has someone watching me? I promise that I am adhering to the 30-day rule.
Doc Ed Pinaud is not the one I am worried about but I will compliment in the future. The Cartel is the one that worries me.
Don't worry about that funny feeling. You're fine. Really. Nothing to worry about. (Note to self - tell the boys to back off just a bit. They're getting sloppy in their surveillance again)
Thank you Gentlemen. Perry, the extra rest was appreciated. I will likely try to bug out of here shortly after lunch today and try to get me haircut.
Great shave and report Joseph. When the soap nears the bottom, it seems to take forever to use up the last little bits. It is frustrating for me. Excellent shave report Danny.
