$4 each at Goodwill: boxed 1987 bottles of Avon Wild Country cologne spray and splash WC Musk. Each barely used. Both are interesting, as I've never been much on WC. The cologne is an up front megaton blast of pure powder like nothing I've ever smelled, then dries down to something that does not quite resemble the WC that I have never been impressed by...maybe it's faded but it's better off for it. Nice. The Musk is more the usual herbal powdery WC blend with subtle (probably faded) musk notes. Not cloying, it is wearable. Very barbershop.
These are really cool Herm! Can understand passing on them, but the tins are pretty neat, wonder if the Colgate Shaving Powder is just ground up Colgate Mug soap.
this was today’s mail call... few things missing but hopefully they will come in before Jan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am trying not to buy any more razors but this one the deal was there plus you don't see the 48/49 version show up for sale all that often unlike the later versions. The other thing is it will make a nice companion piece to go along with my 2nd gen British Aristocrat.
Some good ones here. https://www.google.com/search?clien....133.0j1......1....1..gws-wiz-img.XuvZI2VtwsQ
Pickup a nice second quarter 1956 flare tip at a local antique mall this morning. I did not have a flare tip and this one cleaned real nice.
very nice,my friend bought my trio 55-57 of flaretips when i got my british ones. they are all fine shavers..cool to find them in shops instead of ebay..
It is great to be able to look them over before you buy. Well worth what I paid for it. It had a little rust under the doors but it is amazing what a good hot water soaking will do. A gentle brushing and it all came off. The worse part is getting the gunk out of the lines in the flare tip. Toothpick works wonders there.
There here. Got it all today. 4 Aftershaves one not pictured from The shave Den. One Barbershop already wrapped as a Christmas present. The Next was an Awesome PIF From @Rose Selavy. A few of these will also be re gifted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here is a picture of a 195 Fat Boy next to an Executive Fat Boy. It is easy to see the knurling difference on the handle and knob.
A picture is worth a thousand words. I seem to like the knurling on the Executive better. Does the Executive FB have the same knurling as a slim? I compared your picture to my Slim and they look similar. Just trying to absorb all of the razor knowledge I can.
