    I*V 7 French Kate
This brush is named after a "leg knife" GEC has named there version of the knife as French Kate the resultant handle looks lot like a leg.
The wood spoke to me , and the proportions of what emerged are ludicrous, The handle is twice the length of the knot and is more suited for left hand. It also demanded a polished finish rather then the rougher I normally opt for. I am glad I listened results are very stunning even if its perhaps not the most functional brush in the universe.

    Technical
    Wood: Manzanita
Knot: 22 mm synthetic 50 mm loft
    Total height: 155 mm

    Hembree Not as pretty smelling

Great looking brushes. I love how the handle material is not very thick around the knot. It makes the knot and the handle "flow" together. Great job!

Very nice. Thinking outside the box leads to some very stylish brushes. Good work.

I*V-8 The twice born flame. This handle suffered a forstner bit accident and was salvaged. The figure of this wood looks like a flame and is quite stunning. The checking and other flaws are infilled with malachite.

    Wood: Manzanita

Getting better and better. Do you use CA or epoxy to set the stone? I have this on my list but haven't gotten the nerve to give it a try.

    Beautiful brush.:happy088:

Excellent work! I find restoring my brushes to be very therapeutic, relaxing AKA setting my mind right. Your wood choice is great!

I have used both.. in this case it was CA. Epoxy tends to wet the stone a bit more and appears to be darker.
