December 11th
Razor: Timeless .95 SC
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1)
Brush: Switchback/tgn boar
Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
Soap: B&M Reserve Waves
Lucky Tiger face tonic
AS: B&M Reserve Waves

Good morning!

The Timeless .95 ends my run of different razors for each day. Three passes to BBS. Excellent smooth shave to start the day. The alum had nothing to say.

I purchased the Silver Blues in bulk on reputation alone. I was kinda sorry I did. They didn't feel very smooth to me. I've just finished a run with a fresh blade in each of my DE's. I don't know what's changed in my technique but I've been getting wonderful smooth shaves from each of my razors.

I've been taking my SOTD photos for the week on the weekends so I have natural light. This time of year I leave the house before sunrise and return after sunset. Before taking the picture of the tgn boar I brushed it across my hand and I noticed a couple of loose hairs. I started messing with the brush and before I knew it I had a couple a dozen hairs in a pile in front of me. I lost several more this morning. I'm not sure why it's giving up on me. Shame because it has really broken in nicely.

Tomorrow is going to start a focus using the Sabre while continuing on with the brush and soap rotation.

Brush: Zenith B02 boar
Soap: Stirling Haverford
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Haverford aftershave

Well, interesting morning so far. We've had lots of rain the past three days and there was a little snow mixed in late yesterday in some areas. Then temperatures went below freezing and there was a chance for black ice on the roads. Then we wake up this morning to a freezing fog advisory. I get showered and shaved and dressed as normal and then get the notification that school will be delayed by two hours due to the road conditions. So, I'm basically ready to go and now I have two more free hours.

The shave was nice and easy. Tiny nick on the corner of my mouth on a spot that I have to watch, but smooth and clean otherwise. Haverford is a wonderful pipe tobacco scent. Great lather whipped up by the Zenith boar and smooth removal from the I1 injector. All around nice.

So, I'll have some extra coffee and then play around with Wilson some in my unexpected extra time. Have a great day!

Thank you, Jim! Wonderful photo and shave as well. Too bad about the boar knot. I lost several last night when I was setting everything out. Noticed a bristle sticking out and I plucked it and then started rubbing the knot across my hand and lost several more. Noticed one in the lather today but I bet there were a couple more.

In going with the Decadent December I pick a shiny Koraat and a gift from my Secret Santa, Oleo El Caballero for the return shave. The soap was very wet and slick with a great scent. Unfortunately the edge is need a visit to the touch up stones.

Wonderful shave and photo Perry. The school administrators and local colleges thought the same thing would happen here. Really no problems on the roads so the morning commute should be very easy.

Hello friends,
Today's shave was with the 3rd razor from the auction. It is a DE razor....and that's about all I know of it. But I'll say this , it shaved damnnnnn good! There is no markings of any kind on it and all the seller replied was"pas de nom" .
Tried a Rapira ( I'm loving these blades) that was used twice before paired with proraso green, unknown brush...see the pattern? ...and Stirling balm. My sinuses are clear , my head and face baby smooth and I'm not feeling like I got taken in this deal.
Just cleaned and sanitized it again and I think it's going to my God son as I've put together a starter kit for him which I have high hopes of him using. Since he is a military man now, im adding in a tech travel kit also since he sure packs that gear in tight for those hikes and other such maneuvers they must do.
Since I have no boys to pass my stuff on to someday, I figured I may as well familiarize him with some of his inheritance to be. Hope he will enjoy it as much as I am now.
Tomorrow I will just randomly pick a razor and gear and see how it goes. Until then...Good evening.

Back to the Wolfman Ti and a new soap, Oleo Shiloh. I think Shiloh is meant to be a dupe of Acqua Di Parma Colonia. If so then I need to try Colonia because the Shiloh smells fantastic. Even my wife commented on the scent while I was shaving. The best part is the soap with its duck fat base works as good or better than it smells. Three passes and touch ups and I caught the baby easily. A splash of Fine Italian Citrus and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Top of the morning to all! Excellent super close two pass +cleanup with the Wolfman custom WR1-OC, First pass with the more aggressive .74gap and the second with the .67gap made for a smooth and comfortable near BBS shave today. The Atomic Rocket is a large brush with excellent weight and is reknotted with an Envy White Two Band Fan. SDBB Rosemary Lavender, easy to lather thick, protective, and super slick soap. Finished with the Fine Lavender and ADP Cedro Di Taormina. Have a terrific Tuesday guys!
