  5. I'm wanting to like the badger but the pig has won my heart.

Soon you'll be teaching the lads how to shave and purchase shave soaps on the sly...man he's growing fast Andrew.

Great to see you again Randy! Awesome awesome pic and gear. Take care .
  6. Well done!!

Thank you gentlemen for the musical interlude. I’m not a big country fan but I am a big fan of the Man in Black.

Hope your feeling better and wow Declan is growing fast.

    Nice light sabre! :yoda
  7. Boar is easy = it's a boar brush. Different loft or diameter, plain or fancy handle. But it's a boar bristle brush. Break it in and enjoy it!

Badger goes off into so many different exotic descriptors. There's much variation even in just one makers line.

Worse that happens with a cheap boar brush - dropping bristles. If you get frustrated bin it and buy a different brand $15 brush and hope for better service. Badgers require a bigger monetary commitment because you know a $15 brush will give poor service. It'll be floppy, no density, prickly badger butt hair.

I appreciate the reviews from those that have found the good badgers. When I see more than three 30DC members using the same knot it must have some redeeming qualities.
  8. Thanks Jim!
  9. Thanks Perry!

  12. Thank you friends and get well soon Andrew. @Linuxguile
  13. Thank you Clint, its Hard to beat a jayaruh brush. I use it more often now since my other boar has gone bald, tha and I really enjoy using it.
  14. Very nice shave Keith, that big Simpson looks like it would barely fit into that soap.
  15. Thanks Jim!
  16. Excellent photo and report, Rick! Good to hear that you’re getting along better with the badger.
