Let us see now, a morning 3x3 shave with only a small weeper below the lip. Just under a week to go and I guess if I would have not went over my lower lip 4 or 5 times I would have had a near perfect shave. I tried to get just above the chin a little closer, and I did. Ya know, it didn't last any longer than the other parts of the face, so it was just a waste of time and effort. I had to try it any way, so...
I am getting quicker at finishing, shaved off about 5 minutes and I'm not even trying to speed up. Now doing a 3 pass face and a 3 pass head shave takes time, if done right.
The 3rd pass is the finish round. I get great results just doing 2 passes, but the 3rd pass is the one that smooths it all out. I think 3 passes is the default from now on, no matter what razor I might use.
The big thing that keeps surprising me is the way my skin feels. I mean, my skin feels softer and looks clearer than any time I remember. This just blows my mind that it isn't tearing up my skin, it's making my skin feel and look better. Would have never in a million years beleived that would happen.
24 days doing a 3x3 every morning with the R41 and a new feather blade each day. You think that would of sent me to a doctor for pain relief, but just the oppisite happened.
So, thats where I'm at.
