Well I picked the Royal Oudh based on essential oils between the AS and the Chypre Vert. Chypre Vert has: Bergamot, mandarin, galbanum, peach, gardenia. lily of the valley, hyacinth, rose, jasmine, iris root, patchouli, oakmoss, amber and sandalwood and Royal Oudh has lemon, pink berry and bergamot. The middle notes consist of cedar, galbanum and angelic root. Base notes are Regal Indian oud, sandalwood and Tonkin musk. So both have Bergamot, Galbanum, Sandalwood. Not really a close match and thinking about it now Verspers with lavender, vanilla, cedar, and the elegant musk Exaltolid, cranberry, cardamom, balsam, and a fern accord for a spicy -forest character. Patchouli, rose, sandalwood, and bergamot, but I used Verspers yesterday so didn't want to use it back to back. Or even WhollyKaw King of Oud with Bergamot, Lemon, Clary Sage, Rose, Aldehydes and Pink Pepper Middle notes: Angelica, Rosewood, Galbanum, Agarwood or Oud, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Patchouli and Amber would have been a closer match.
