Very busy Thursday for me and didn't get a shave off. Dropped the ladies off at work and school respectively then proceeded to garage for a motor vehicle inspection on my truck. A couple hundred bucks lighter and my wallet and I headed off with a new balljoint installed and a new safety sticker. Seems like everyone is out shopping today and traffic was crazy. Ran a few errands , picked up gf then took daughter to hockey. After her game she wanted more hockey ( kids these days) so we headed to neighbors outdoor rink for 2 more hours of fun. I was beat when we got home and proceeded to fall asleep early. But.....I did manage to somewhat keep up with the thread during the day. Gee, you lads sure are trying to set a record this month. Hoping my latest RAD purchase from @jimjo arrives tomorrow and get to try out yet another version of the Canadian E2. And yeahhhh, it's Friday!

Thanks, gentlemen! I find I prefer being cleanshaven now. It just feels cleaner than either a beard or the stubble look. And I also find now that a good shave is a real mood improver.

Arko never fails to amaze me the way the lather explodes. And, that's the only way to describe it...the lather explodes. Only about a buck to buy, it's entertaining to lather, and it's actually a very good soap. What's not to love?

Happy Friday. I had all intentions of getting an early start today. However, I feel asleep on the sofa and woke up late. No worries, Maya is home and can take Mocha for a walk later this morning. Decided to bowl lather the AOS cream which is not my normal routine. Drop the Captain's Choice bowl in the sink and break it. Strike 2. By now I really having second thoughts about the Karve and F plate. Take a deep breath and stick with the plan. The 3 pass shave using the F plate was smooth and drama free. So far that is the only thing this morning that went smooth and drama free. A splash of Fine Santal and I am off to fight the traffic on a rainy morning. I hope everyone has a great Friday.

Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave

Much improved shave from yesterday. I binned that blade and got a new one. Smooth and comfortable all around. Exceptional lather from The Fat and a great finish from the older version of Fine American Blend. This is quite the decadent setup for me. I know it gets old seeing this every Friday, but I really love this setup and will continue with it as long as it works.
