Nice shave and terrific picture of Logan, Andrew!

I haven't heard the story behind your CT. Is this razor a part of the story?

  6. thank you andrew.
  7. Very nice, Andrew! I don't have any experience with high end knots but I don't know how they could get a whole lot better than a TGN Finest.

  12. thank you mark.. hope to find a proper case for it. its nice enough to invest the money..
  13. I've been resisting getting a Simpson brush. Giving it my best effort. Telling myself that I love my customs and even my new Finest from Stirling. Don't need a Simpson. Seriously. Not gonna buy one. Nope, not looking. Even with pictures like that I'm impervious to the urge to buy. Enabling won't work. Just gonna keep busy with something else until the urge passes. :sport026:
  14. Love the Friday photos Andrew. Very generous pif there also my friend.
  15. Ahhh…

Used the same setup as yesterday - however, unlike yesterday, the “Shave Zen” wasn’t interrupted. Got to savor the delightful aroma of worn leather and enjoy each and every swipe of the Karve with a smooth GSB loaded - gliding easily through the slick, rich lather. Two passes, some touch up and the face was smooth. Since there was enough lather left for another three-passer, might as well do the back of the neck too. A few generous shots of the matching AS to finish the spa-like experience. Feeling smooth, smelling great. This, kids, is what hobby shaving is all about!

  19. Just thought I'd point it out - there's a new raffle for TSD up on the home page! Runs through December 31st. All proceeds go to support our home here on the web! I've won two fantastic items from past raffles - my Jayaruh #46 and my Delta Echo version New LC. A couple of other things too. It's a great way to help support The Shave Den as well as have a chance at some awesome stuff!
  20. You rock, Jim!! :git:
