  1. Thank you, Jim. This razor features qualities of both the 46-47 Aristocrats and 48-51 Aristocrats and I was having a hard time figuring out when it was made so I created a thread titled "Dating an unusual Aristocrat". Of course most of the initial responses has nothing to do with actually identifying the razor and were mostly just ribbing me base on the title, and thus my CT was born. It was eventually decided later on though that this was an early razor in the 48-50 production run that was built using leftover parts from the 46-47 run.
First of all, I will take that as a compliment. Thank you! Secondy, I know you are a fan of synthetics. I will tell you that a Simpson's synthetic feels unlike any other synthetic on the market.
    Thank you, Patrick!
    Awesome shot, Bruce!
If you want one of the SE handles follow Simpsons on twitter (https://twitter.com/AESimpson1919), and then when he posts a pic of one email him and tell him you are interested in purchasing one.
  2. Thank you, Bruce!

  3. They used to offer the Et Tu soap as a loyalty program offering. I do have it, and it is great. Mine is in the CK-1 base, which is still a good performer.
  4. Beautiful picture, Clint! I am sure you will have a great Friday despite the hiccups this morning!

  5. It was definitely meant as a compliment. Although the enabling ending of that comment was probably unnecessary. Well played, sir, well played.

  11. That literally made me laugh out loud! Too funny!

Right now I'm just window shopping and trying to show a little restraint.

  13. Patrick, I've been trying to reduce my shaving inventory to things I really want to keep and use for awhile now. I hope to continue this through next year. We're moving next year, and I am doing this with some other stuff (like clothing) as well. No need to hold on to items that are not needed or wanted.

Any New Year's resolutions for you?

    Happy Friday!
Gents, thanks for the kind words. Have a fantastic day!

  14. :angry032::angry032::angry032::angry032: I thought you were gonna send me your Chubby 2 Synth or one of your Blackland Razors. I call this thinking happy thoughts. You might call it dementia. :happy102:

Kudos for your generosity on the brush PIF to Aaron. :)
  15. I appreciate the feedback Bruce. It is a shame that I can’t post this review where it really needs to be seen.

  16. Two points. 1) The whole idea of building a new home is to add space to hold all the stuff you've collected while living in your old home. I believe this is a correct statement. Thus, the problem of "too much gear" really shouldn't exist if the plans were correct. If not, I'd call the architect and see what you can do to fix it. 2) I agree that clothing can pile up long after it's useful. Shaving gear? Nope, not possible. It's actually impossible to amass ENOUGH shaving gear. It's physics. Hawking would back me up.
  17. You know, Neal...while Jennifer is gone for the next few days...you could buy more stuff and have it delivered before she returns. :innocent
