I was going to delete my own post, but now I see have a few likes. I guess I'm getting excited as the time nears for the 2019 Stoylin Tony winner.
Well....just found out that my payment is being refunded-they don't have the History 101(Summer Breaks). "Inventory issue" they said. It appeared to me they had enough of that brand. Oh well.
Doug, as I just reported to @jtspartan-who joined you in complimenting Topof......I just learned from them that they are out of the History 101. Iventory foul-up they said. They are refunding my payment, though.
Another excellent post Joseph. I too tend to use more tallow based soaps but I do have the Felce 4.3 base. I will preface my comment in that I really have never had a soap that leaves my face dry. Of the vegan soaps I have tried and there have been a few, the Felce 4.3 would be one of the best for post shave feels. In fact I enjoyed the Felce 4.3 so much I added several more scents to my Christmas wish list for the girls.
I have very little experience with high end modern razors, but I would agree with Karve as a razor of the year candidate. You hit the nail on the head with your assessment. Great quality at a great price point.
Excellent picture, and a terrific right up Joseph! I am definitely looking forward to your comparison tomorrow.
Try ordering directly from Summer Break Soaps. It looked like they had inventory. Plus, if you order a mere $55 worth of stuff, you get free shipping. No one wants to pay shipping charges, after all.
December 15, 2018 Karve F Plate Feather Zenith B27 Boar Oleo El Caballero Dominica Grand Bay Rum I am really moving slow this morning. I had all intentions of going into the office this morning but decided the rest was more worthwhile. The Oleo soap is nearing the end. About time to move the remains to the center where I can load the soap better. The B27 boar is a joy to use for those that like a lot of backbone. With its short loft this is not like most other boar brushes. The B27 literally tore through the soap. Face lathering was blissful with the scent cologne/bay rum scent filling the room. Three passes and touch ups ended with the baby just escaping. Overall an excellent shave. A splash of Dominica Bay Rum and I am ready for the afternoon trip to the airport in order to pick up Asha. I hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday.
I hope we don't get any of the white stuff this winter. I have a rock garden just outside the master bedroom that I often use for photos.
Great shave and photo, Clint! I bet you're excited to have everyone home for the holidays. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Thank you Jim. As you know daughters are always dad's little girls. I am very excited to have them both home. I have not saw Asha since July so that makes her coming home even more special.
