You must have some very hard water there. I use a soft bristle toothbrush to clean and I've never seen any damage.

I am amazed by the generosity here as well. Without even so much as a thought Andrew sent me the badger brush, since I was focusing on my lathers this month. I had been trying to get Decadent Lathers and just didn't have the badger brush to do it. I have the boars, and the horse, and synthetic, but a badger brush was something I just couldn't find that I liked.
He also chose a handle that is exactly like a vintage boar brush I have. All this without me even knowing about it until the package arrived. This place truly is spectacular!
