  1. You’re not giving yourself enough credit, Terry. You’ve learned a ton by mastering your shaves - with a notoriously difficult razor for many. You know what works and what doesn’t. You, sir, are quite capable of passing on that knowledge.
  2. Fabulous haul! And a great job on getting it all shiny again. You're doing great with your shaves now anyway, so no reason not to take a break and play with the new toy if you want to...
  3. Very nice description, Charlie! I love the smell of WD-40...and Clubman. I’m all in! :)

  5. You think too much, Paul. :happy097:
  6. My avitar is my basset hound named Beagle. Her name is a joke that stuck, she does still answer to Bailey. I took that picture when we went to the store right after bath time and she refused to stay home, so she had to bundle up.
  7. Until 2019

  8. Thank you Charlie. The scales and the covered tang was what made the rad really kick in with this one.
Thank you, I enjoy restoring them and also using them. I have been finding some really nice ones lately.

  14. Load any Russian blade and all will be forgiven, or so I heard. ;)
You might check to see if you have enough Natalia kibble in the pantry.

  16. DECember down hill run

    RazoRock Lime Burst SS
    SP→2 VS Black badger
    Suribachi & cool water
    Ming Shi 2000s on 5.5
    Personna Blue (9th use)
    Pinaud Lime Sec AS

While I get the itch to change soap & aftershave by weeks end I wasn't planning to extend the use of this blade, but it's still doing fine. Weather was warm enough that cool tap water felt comfortable. Either the cool water or the knot in this brush defied my desire to load heavily. No supergoopy lather, but sufficient for three passes at a slightly higher setting on the Futur clone. No blood spilt and with repeated use I'm better able to reduce that stubborn lower neck stubble.
    Good Shaves Y'all!
  17. Very nice Bruce

  20. And a couple more good reports and great photos to finish Monday with!

Nice razor set, Gary. And watching the first season of Monty Python sounds like a great way to end the day. I'm on a binge of Murdoch Mysteries seasons myself...

Rick, I have always thought that asymmetrical brush of yours is really a neat design. Does it fit well in the hand?
