Nice combo, Randy. I don't recall seeing that brush before. Is it new? The wood looks very nice on it.
Very nice, Jim. I know you have quite a few B&M soaps, but do you have Cheshire? I ask because it is also based on Earl Grey tea.
A great looking shave again, Jim. I always like the look of that razor travel case everytime you show it. I assume you take it to the gym?
Shaving with hotel soap... even though you brought shave soap with you? :signs002:...You are a hardened traveler, my friend.
What a stunning photo, Mark. Fantastic use of colour.
I'm with you on the preshave oils, Joseph. Used homemade ones the first several months of DE shaving. Stopped using it and didn't notice a difference.
Awesome Hump Day photo, Andrew. Man, is Declan ever growing.
Thoughts on the Hot Apple Cider?

  2. Thank you, Andrew. She is progressing as she should, I believe. She is still quite sore, but can shuffle around a bit and is a little more self sufficient. I will be home from work on vacation for 10 days starting this weekend, and will be looking forward to being able to help her more during the days.

  3. Thank you, Doug. Do you have any of the First Canadian stuff?
  4. Thank you, Jason! I like it! It smells just like you think it would, there is a bit of cinnamon oil in it though so you'll get a little tingle/burn going by the end of the shave. Probably not one I would repurchase though.
  5. Some older Canadian Gillette razors I believe.
  6. Thanks, Jason.
I don't have Cheshire. I need to look into that one. This morning's combo of GD Earl Grey with the bourbon, vanilla scent of the DCCS Winter Reserve was next level decadence.

Very, very early morning shave with a afternoon post while I’m taking a break. Everything worked well this morning. The SV was super easy to whip into a rich slick lather. The scent was fantastic. Three passes and touch ups with the #2 plate ended in a near perfect shave. Not as close or as efficient as the #3 plate. A splash of Myrsol was a wonderful end to the shave. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday
