A chap on the UK forums not only worked out that the thread of the Gibbs handle wasn't a modern readily available one but managed to lay his hands on the appropriate tool and threaded the brass insert himself. He then turned this beautiful handle to match the equally beautiful brush. Consider my hat well and truly doffed.

I had a good shave but didn't enjoy bowl lathering the MWF. I just feel I have more control when face lathering with it.
Tabac Thursday's Shave Cold Water Wash Tabac Shaving Soap Jayaruh #2 RazoRock Black Hawk Feather Professional CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #2 brush. I did two passes with the RazoRock Black Hawk Razor with a Feather Professional blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
