DEcember 20th Gillette Red Tip w Nacet Valobra Fougere Omega ‘49/Walnut Thayers TFS Mastro Miche AS Switched to the Red Tip this morning. Realized that the rest of the gear besides the razor happens to be Italian- Soap, AS and Knot. Got a nice lather from the Valobra and had 3 very smooth passes. This soap (and brush for that matter) can take a lot of water. I fed it more than last time and was rewarded. Not feeling very irritated, and can’t feel sandpaper. I’d call this a good start to the day. Have a great day all!

December 20 Muhle R41/Big Bomber SS Feather (1) 30DC LE SC Love Alum, Thayers WH, USB, Clubman, Aramis I enjoyed a deliriously doubly decadent early Thursday morning two-passer, best described as a shaving aria. With an expertly applied light touch and carefully orchestrated mug stretching, the Feather blade became one with the R41. Together, the razor and blade performed as a virtually seamless extension of my left arm, such that the transition between flesh and stainless steel became blurred. It is no overstatement that newborn babies the world over would be downright envious of this smooth old hipster redneck. As you all know, I don't like to brag, but I am compelled to speak the truth. Then came the cabaletta, where I applied strategically heavy doses of Clubman and Aramis, and then I rightfully paused to admire my handiwork. The glorious event culminated with a cadenza unlike any that's ever been heard. With good reason, this was the highlight of the day for me and my very fortunate Bride. Have a great day, men!
SOTD DEcember 20th RazoRock Mamba .70 w/ RR Super Knurl handle Lamix Platinum Plus (4) Stirling Boar Van der Hudson Best shave out of the Mamba .70 yet. Took my time and focused on maintaining a minimum cutting angle and no pressure. The added weight of the SS handle really helped the razor do its work while I navigated. Three passes BBS finish no irritation! Have a great day my friends!
