1) Eufros by Jabonman
Manuel produces some of the finest soaps I have ever used. His Tobacco and Vetiver de Haiti belong to the top soaps/scents in my den.
2) Barrister & Mann
Terrific performance and some wonderful scents. Some, however are not for everyone's nose.
Leviathan, Seville, Bay Rum and Cologne Russe are great. I have Roam too and...it's not my favorite.
3) Mike's Natural Soaps
Mike is a no-nonsense soap maker, with a fantastic soap base and simple, yet wonderful scents. No crazy stuff here. I have these:

Mike's Natural Hungarian Lavender
Mike's Natural Pine & Cedarwood
Mike's Natural Vetiver
Mike's Natural Bay Rum
I used up a tin of Peppermint & Rosemary and it was terrific. One soap of his didn't hit the mark for me and that was a Rose.
He didn't make anymore of it. @david of central florida still uses it, I believe.

It was popular for a short while and then it lost its appeal, I guess. TR makes great soaps, but they are expensive. 90g for about $35. Too much.

That brush rocks Clint. When I first got back to our hobby, I hated the beehives. They are now my favorite handle.

Nice score Joseph! Glad you have the skills to get a good shave from a Fatip. I've been (and will continue to) pronouncing it "Faah-tip" so I don't believe everything Mr Maggard said. It's also a "Pick - ah- low" not a "pee caw lew".

When Adam @Drygulch announced his Use Up Soap Challenge I knew I wasn't participating. Hard pucks last a long time! I don't mind shave cream if it's good stuff but the cost per ounce makes triple milled appear more economical. Tabac, Klar, RazoRock WTP, Vintage Williams, Truefitt & Hill give me great lather for the couple moments of blooming and loading.

Thank you, Joseph. I appreciate your thoughtful summary. Based on recent feedback from you, @jtspartan, and @BaylorGator so far, I've started a list of soaps and scents for consideration. I'll continue to tweak the list going forward based on new information. Mike's, Jabonman Eufros, and Tabac have already made my top 5. I lean toward tallow soaps, so I'm still on the fence with MdC. I'm looking for a couple (or so) more top-tier soaps (for me) to round out my All Star list. Five soap manufacturers and various scents of each will provide a nice rotation in my den.

My favorite overall scents, so far, are variations on Lavender and Tobacco. I always plan to keep an unscented soap in the den for times when I know that scents are off-limits, and I'm not concerned about soaps that are overly drying because I always use unrefined shea butter.

I have Mike's Hungarian Lavender in the queue, but I omitted B&M Bay Rum, as I didn't get along well with that scent. I guess that's why everyone says YMMV.

Thank you Joseph. I was the same way until Mark, Doug and I had the Beehive brushes made by Bob at Elite Razor. Now I think the Beehive is one of the best shapes for a brush handle.

For me it’s not generally a “use this blade in this razor, but not that one”. Voskhod in the Rockwell was smooth, but didn’t seem all that sharp. In the Karve, where there’s more blade exposure, it was still smooth, and the sharpness seemed fine. The Voskie might need to be revisited in the Rockwell again, just for kicks.

Very carefully, also while it’s not spinning. I’m fairly sure that an evinrude would run with a 40:1 mix of gas and clubman.

Still on a mission to jettison some soaps. In a hurry this AM, so I reached for the Karve for a drama free result. Luna - Coco did not end up as jetsam. It’s a very solid soap that smells like toasted coconut. Not an everyday scent, but an enjoyable one that produced plenty of rich, creamy, dreamy lather.
