Merry Christmas Marine. Hope it's a great one for you. Thanks for continuing to be a part of our little band around here. Wouldn't be the same without you.
Monday night December 24 - Christmas Eve Shave Gillette L2 Travel Tech / GSB (1) Simpsons CH2 Chubby Synthetic Bristles Fendrihan Lavender Sandalwood soap sample Alum and Florida Water No pic tonight. My last unused Tech. It has what I presume is a Zamac head with the Gillette name deeply impressed in it and one of those ridiculously short ball end handles. Shave was okay though, even if the handle was a little awkward to hold. Two passes to the usual BBS on my face and DFS on my neck. Complete silence from Mr. Alum. A splash of flowery goodness to finish off As I said in my previous post, I hope everyone here has a Merry Christmas (or Happy Hanukkah, Good Kwanzaa, or great Festive Season as the case may be)!
I started playing piano at 4. Was a music major for the first year and a half of college. Piano major to be exact. I joined a fraternity. We had "brick names". Long story that involves lots of beer, whiskey, debauchery and hazing (oh wait, I already said fraternity). Short version - my "brick name"..........Livercrotchie. True story.
Decadent December!! December 24, 2018 Razor - Gillette Super Adjustable Shorty (9) Blade - (3) Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat Brush - 30 DC LE Post - Alum I stayed as Canadian as I could again tonight. The short handled Super Adjustable, the 3o DE brush by our own @jtspartan , and even the soap can tie into Canada. MWF - English. They used to own North America. Close enough. The blade? Still Russian and proud. I was just after a very nice and enjoyably decadent shave for Christmas Eve and I found it. The Fat lathered up to its usual glorious self. I'm getting lathers that are comparable to Stirling mutton tallow. Slick and very protective. Luxurious feeling in the hand when squeezing out the brush. Two totally smooth passes with just a bit of neck touch up for a BBS finish and my face feels lanolin great! It's a great way to end the day as Santa approaches. Merry Christmas to all......and to all a good night!

Just a play on the name Liberace - since I was the first ever music major to pledge Delta Tau Delta at Baker U. However, the process of getting that name.....yeah there's a story or two there.
Made a third try today for my Christmas Day shave. Before I started I prelathered and did about 100 passes on the leather. Turned out to be a lot better shave definitely been an improvement. Took the picture on my new Nikon also. Merry Christmas everyone!!!!
