  1. turtle wax.. secret ingredient...:p they do look similar..but the stirling rocks..for wax i prefer meguiars,,
  2. Wonderful haul from @BaylorGator. I worked out a deal for Soapy Science Unscented and the Jeeves 30DC set. Being the nice guy he is (enabler, perhaps) he threw in a few more items. Love the generosity of this crew!

Blood on Steel smells great! Reminds me a little of the new Haverford scent from Stirling, but with less vanilla or less sweetness.

  10. Thursday Decadent December Shave

Today's razor is a Jwest razor I pick up for a great price, Nichiri 6/8 full hollow. While this is a plane Jane, non-famous J West I picked to show you don't need to spend big bucks for a decadent shave. There are many JWest and US made razors that can be bought for a reasonable price and deliver decadent shaves.

The edge was fantastic and nailed another epic shave. I was inspired after seeing to 30DC'ers using Guerlain Vetiver.... so me too.

    Irritation A+ Closeness A+ Smoothness A+ Sharpness A+

    Razor: Nichiri 6/8 full hollow
    Strop: Herrold Russian leather
    Brush: Thäter 2 band
    Pre: Proraso
    Soap: Fine Vetiver
    AS: Fine Vetiver AS,Speick ASB
    Scent: Guerlain Vetiver

  15. 20181226_172610.jpg I got a K1 Flare tip in today. This is a birth razor. It cleaned up great. My four year old granddaughter loves to help me clean old razors up. She loves to operate the tto knob and brush their "teeth".

  18. I've been at it 4 years so I feel like I'm qualified to speak to that statement. At what point do you really start saving money? After two years? Sure, we'll go with that. :innocent
