Thank you all for the best wishes. I'm feeling better but expect to have this for a few days. I ended up taking DD to the ER because she was having a problem with persistent nausea. It turns out that the has a stomach virus on top of testing positive for Influenza-A (which I what I suspect that I have despite having gotten a flu shot back in October). The ER was seriously backed up. We were there for five hours, four of which were spent waiting for a bed to open. We had actually stopped first at an urgent care and they were backed up as well. Either the flu is starting to hit hard here or lots of people got unsafe Christmas presents.
It's a quick-hitting disease. You have multiple tubs before you know it. Then you start contributing to the Stirling Exchange on here and call yourself a fanboy. Oh, wait. That's what I did....
My wife really liked the scent and I have never heard any negative comments about Stirling. I don't mind supporting a company like that. I will have to do it in moderation of course.
legos rock . got a lego mustang set for christmas.. cool. lego bullitt , steve mcqueen would be proud..
I have never lived in your neck of the woods, but I did attend some week-long camps as a teenager at UA. My parents strictly told me to not let them take me to DCH if I needed hospitalization. My dad attended UA in the late 1960s. I think it was there then and had the same reputation.
Nice! We have a few sets of Lego Duplos for Wilson (age 4). They are the bigger pieces. He loves them.
Only difference between a man and a boy is the price of his toys.........Ohhh that hits home. Just don't look at the razors on my shelf.
Still about the same. My mother did have open heart surgery there in 2007 and I was impressed and they did take care of her. They have improved in some areas but if I have anything major I'll go to UAB in Birmingham. Children's hospital in Birmingham is top notch as well.
