Hey it's Thursday, good morning.
I have to thank
@rmcintyre84 for todays razor. He sent me LOTS of razors, brushes, mugs and other things that I haven't got through yet.
The one thing I did get to is this little early 20's OC razor.

Razor- 1920 Gillette OC
Blade- Feather (new)
Soap- PAA Atomic Age Bay Rum
Brush- Omega badger
Finish- Nevia
A 3 pass face and a 3 pass head shave today forgoing the straight razor, just to tired. Me and my straight razor don't know each other well enough to play nice together this morning. Have a feeling we might get into a fight, so I just left it in the draw today.
Now for the 1920, It has a small crack in the bottom handle tube. So I turned it over filed down the round insert on the bottom plate so it fits looser into tube. I made a round cylinder shim and epoxyed it into the tube on the cracked side with a clamp to hold the crack closed. I think it will hold for a few years. Cleaned and ready to put into sevice.
This is a very close cutter. I was plesantly surprised at this and think I found another wonderful razor.
Being less than perky, I did get a weeper on the chin and a small amount of leakage on the top of the head. Both small and eventually stopped after a while. Hence, leave the straight in the draw!
The Bay Rum filled the bathroom the way I like and I'm now smooth and clean, the way I like.
Thank you
@rmcintyre84
Ready for the day.
Enjoy
