  1. SOTD December 28, 2018

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Personna Ultra Chrome
    Razor: Schick M1 injector
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave

The Fat is back after a week off due to being out of town. Wonderful shave all around. The vintage Personna blade was at its end so I finished out the shave and took it out. Slick and bountiful lather from the Wool Fat and a wonderful finish from the American Blend. No complaints on this shave.

Took Wilson to the library this morning and we checked out a couple of books, then to my parents' house for some pizza and a little football watching, then home for a nap. Alice is on her way home so our boys adventure is coming to an end. It was fun, but mama is always missed.

    Have a great evening!

  3. If it's going to be a busy day we might as well get all the New Year business and celebrations taken care of. Good way to start our 5th year together here.

  4. Neal, could the Cartel please tell me what to do with Natalia? I don't think I can afford to feed her for another month.

  5. Ok, so there are two real dogs in that photo. The black one in the lower right. The black and white one sitting next to the multicolored toy dog by Logan's chair.

Thanks Perry, the only place I could find the sprayers for the bigger Stirling bottles was a place called premium vials(https://www.premiumvials.com/). The size is 28-400, I now have spray tops on almost all of my aftershaves (except those that have built in orifice reducers).

  7. We'll recall her to HQ for the start of the new year. I usually give all the boys (and Natalia) a week off at the first of the year since it takes them that long to sober up after New Year's Eve anyway. Which reminds me - make sure the vodka tanker is going to be on time. Almost forgot.

  10. They need to increase the aftershaves to 4 oz. (hope they will in the future). Their handsoaps look all right though.

  12. They did have some great razors, not covered by the lifetime warranty anymore sadly. But the ones I have are amazing shavers.
  13. Excellent shave Perry! Watching the kid(s) certainly gives you an appreciation for everything that mom does!

  14. Thank you, Jim!

    Amen to that, Andrew! Thanks!
  15. I am going to take an idea from Jim, @jluc, and go through all my soaps and creams in alphabetical order. I'll start on my first shave in January and go from there. I'll pause to use Mitchell's on Fridays like usual, but otherwise I'll plow through my den alphabetically. It'll take into February as I have 38 soaps and creams on hand. Yikes! That's not as many as some of you but that seems like a lot to me. Maybe this alphabetical launch can help me determine a few to get rid of.

  17. Yes, but I have a lot of Soap Commander and Stirling, so it's Stirling Black Pepper Lime followed by Stirling Haverford, etc.

Arko is up first. My only A-lettered soap.

  20. Oh you fed her? She’s like a stray once you feed her she won’t leave. You’re going to have to send her on a mission to get her to leave, and make sure it’s believable or she will see right through your plan
