My donations to the 2018 TSD Holiday Raffle .... I prefer to keep them as CONUS, but that is up to @Queen of Blades Each pic is considered a prize. A restored boar brush (never used) not perfect, but has Omega 40033 knot A Russian travel razor #1 Another Russian razor in case #2 Two vintage shave sticks (1930's) appear to be unused. A 1930's boar bristle chromium plated hair brush. Edit for clarification .... I will be paying CONUS shipping, but should an outlander win the prize they'll be expected to cover the excess postage. Sorry for any inconvenience or miss understanding.
70 tickets bought and 37 prizes. Odds are pretty good! Please buy a ticket or two if you haven't! Great prizes and you're supporting the forum.
Neat prizes. I believe it says in the opening post that the raffle is open to international members and quite a few of us who have donated prizes and bought tickets are outside of the US.
If you have questions regarding my reasons you're welcome PM me, but I'd rather not go into it in an open forum. If it truly a problem I can remove my donations; I wasn't trying to be rude ... sorry.
I wasn’t trying to be rude either, sorry. Your reasons are your reasons. I guess I was just trying to point out that many international folks have donated on here generously- either with prizes or $- as the opening did state it was ‘open to international members’, as it usually has the past few years.
Here’s a donation to add to the list A user grade fair condition 9/16 Portland 1905 made in Germany Sold by GNW Wilson co Portland Oregon Shave ready and will be shipped with oil coat on the blade for rust prevention. Good luck to all entered
Apparently the updates Sparky did yesterday broke the donation page. I have records of those who have already purchased tickets, and am working on updating the ticket list. However, if anyone wishes to purchase before the raffle closes tonight, please PM me and we will figure something out.
No, and it doesn't cost more to ship there, either. Which is why I said US in the prize listing post, not CONUS (which stands for Continental United States)
One more donation from me- a "Paul Revere" Schick Super II: Basically, this is a heavy TracII-compatible handle. I'll also include a pack of Personna-made cartridges. I know that it is not the typical razor for this group, but I seem to recall that there are some cart users out there.
Every good raffle needs at least one booby prize for last place. For that I am donating an unopened plastic RiMei razor. I will understand if this one goes unclaimed.
I just reminded myself a while ago that I have two of these. So I'll throw in this lovely type D injector. There's an ouch on the front of the case, and the blade magazine is a bit ratty. The razor itself is inp excellent shape.
