Holy Black SR-71 three pc slant
Let a friend borrow my 2 pc SR-71 slant back in September and he enjoyed the shaves he was getting with it, so told him to keep it when I saw HB came out with the 3 pc version and now getting around to picking it up

 

Hundred 7 o'clock yellow blades.

 

A '70 Gillette woman's razor for ma wife and a old gold plated 3 piece Gillette of unknown year. These darn things are addictive.

Will post when they arrive. Was looking for an open comb, but this one poped up at a price I couldn't pass on. Oh well maby next time.

This morning, I ordered a Karve Shaving Co., The Christopher Bradley DE Safety Razor, 3.5" Handle & Level C Guard. I also ordered a Level B Guard to start off with. I will be using this razor and the New Merkur 25C that I just received, to start my Wet Shaving Experience. I am hoping the Krave will arrive this Friday or Saturday. That way I'll be able to start Wet Shaving on Sunday.

I got this Henckels. I will be making a box for it to live in. Great little razors. You can also use modern SE blades with them.

Well, it appears that I'm not getting another Aristocrat after all and I am pissed!

The seller initially marked the item as shipped but did not happen to post a tracking number. This is somewhat unusual, but not a red flag in itself. This past weekend, I messaged him to see if he had the tracking number. His response was that the tracking # was at work and he'd update it on Monday. Tonight, I got this message: "Hey I'm sorry to inform you of this , but I can't find anything showing where I sent your item off. I must have misplaced it somewhere or it fell out the box I had everything in. I'm sorry once again. I'm trying as we speak to find out how to refund your money." followed by a cancellation of the transaction and a refund from eBay.

Now, I understand that things happen but I've been a bit leery about this one ever since I won the auction for less than a rejected offer amount. So, I poked around the sellers completed auctions and found this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/ANTIQUE-RA...7-50-WORKS-PERFECTL-LITTLE-WEAR-/113471545032 which ended the following day for much more money. Looking at the pictures, they are identical to the razor in the auction I won, right down to a distinctive spot on the handle.

Moreover, it turns out that this seller has fairly low feedback including a couple of negatives, one for a razor which was never received and for which a refund was requested from eBay. Guess what that razor looks like... yup, spot and all!

Right now, I can't decide if I'm dealing with a well-meaning but incompetent seller, or the world's worst crooked one.

Sigh.
