Just how is it that you've escaped a CT thus far? Are you bribing The Queen with ice cream?

    Wolfman WR1-OC Darwin Titanium
    Feather HS
    Paladin Lapis Chief
    CRSW Lavish Soap and Aftershave

Near perfect shave today with the Wolfman WR1-OC. Two passes, first with the .74gap and second +cleanup with the .64gap. Cold River Soap Works Select Lavish, easy lathering, thick & slippery whipped by the Paladin Chief into mountainous proportions. I am smooth, refreshed, and revitalized ready for the day. Have a great shave today all!

  9. More "shave soap overboard!!" this morning, so I had to once again split the loading action between transferring the soap onto my skin and scraping it off the sides. I think a mistake I made was to put the scraped soap back into the puck, not onto my face.

The sixth shave of my shavette focus is in the books. I performed WTG & ATG passes and some touch up. I finished with Clubman as a nod to @Paul Turner, and I'm ready for a big Thursday!

    Enjoy your day!

My Bride and I had our first date 34 years ago today. I am indeed a blessed man, Paul. I thought the Clubman would be appropriate for the day. It smells pretty good. Too bad you can't proclaim this from the rooftops since we are under the Cone of Silence.

My Bride remembers two things about our first date: (1) I was a gentleman and opened the car door for her and (2) I passed another car on the freeway entrance ramp (I imagined there was a passing lane even though it didn't exist). Just between us. ;)

Have a great day, my friend. :)

  14. Blood loss < 1.0 quart = weeper. Cartel rules. I can attest that shaving the chin area is tough with a Pain Stick. I'm glad you've joined a few us on the shavette focus this month. So far, my worst cut has been to my finger...I'll let you figure that one out. It didn't impact the shave, but it put a dent in this week's knitting. :)

For the record, Fine Platinum AS is one of my favorites!

Have a blast on your date night, Randy!

  17. January 2nd shave

    Craftsman 9210 shoulderless 3/4”
    Mikes natural soaps “coconut”
    Jayaruh 117
    Nivea post shave balm

For tonight’s shave I chose to try out the mikes natural soap, I have to say I was impressed with how easily it lathered. I was also very pleased with the on the face feel, the slickness and cushion of this soap. The craftsman glided through the light growth with no problems at all. The end result was a two pass bbs with almost no clean up. Which also says a lot for this soap too, since It’s a lot harder for me to achieve a bbs on two day in a row shaves. I was also pleased that the coconut scent was on the lighter side, it’s one of those scents that is nice but you don’t want it strong or lingering around forever. This will definitely be going into the rotation. Thank you Perry @PLAla for a really enjoyable soap.
